FAQ’s

Can I become a pilot?

You need to be a U.S. Citizen, older than 17 years old (student pilots can solo at 16 years old), and pass a physical exam with an Aviation Medical Examiner. At the conclusion of your training you will be required to pass an FAA written exam and a practical check ride.

How much does it cost to become a pilot?

Costs vary per program. See our flight training programs page for more information.

How long will my flight training be?

It depends on the diligence of the student pilot, the more you study and more often you fly the faster you will get through training. On average students take anywhere from 6 to 8 months.

Is now a good time to learn to fly?

Absolutely! The pilot shortage has created a demand in our industry. Many of our students have gone onto varying careers ranging from airline pilots to fighter pilots.

How can I pay for my flight training?

You will be billed monthly. We accept cash, checks, Venmo, and Zelle. Unfortunately, we are not set up at this time to be able to take credit or debit cards. You can also pay ahead of time. We offer a discounted rate for those who purchase a block of hours. Please see the program price list for more details.
